Indexer Machine Bases

All machine pedestal bases are rigid hollow castings which support the circular indexer and tooling plates, main indexer drive shaft, and indexer drive bearing.

Two models of bases are offered along with various sizes of extended circular platforms designed to accept tooling in a minimum of floor space. An opening at the bottom of the pedestal is used to accommodate the variable speed drive which is connected to the main indexer shaft. An adjustable slip clutch between the drive and the drive shaft absorbs any machine jams, preventing damage to the drive and indexer.

The drive is powered by a 1/2 HP, 115 Volt, 60 Hz motor, and SCR regulated for variable speed with dynamic braking for controlled stopping.
